History:
I picked up a 0.020' over short block that blew a head gasket and sat. The rust from the coolant unfortunately destroyed 2 of the 4 pistons and the rods were not damaged. The bores on the block were too pitted and needed to go to the next size over. I then picked up another stock bore block (this one being sold) and sent it to the machine shop with the 2 pistons and rods from the other short block. I purchased 2 new identical Wiseco pistons and the shop bored the cylinders to each of the 4 pistons and decked the surface. The block has been soaked in grease and sitting in a bag for about a year in the office. I also have a crank shaft that has a ding on the number 1 journal. I've been told its fine, do a quick polish and send it.
What's needed:
-Two piston ring and wrist pin kit for the 2 used pistons
-Crankshaft bearings
-Assembly
There is $1200 alone in machine shop work on this so the price is more than fair. This will make a good fresh mild street strip build.
